This will take place in May-June 2009 to mark the bicentenary of the birth of Louis Braille. The trip is a celebration of Paris and all that it has to offer both the blind and the sighted visitor, as a demonstration of sincere thanks for the legacy of communication and access that Louis Braille bequeathed to all who have both a visual impairment and a hankering to travel. The plan therefore, is to pay visits to one or two actual sites of significance to Louis's life, and then, to spend the majority of the four days exploring the delights of Paris.
